Chemo Cap

Yarn will be provided free of charge. You can take it home or can knit it at the shop on Sundays from 1-4pm when we have charity knitting!

Pattern

Double pointed needles
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle
Washable yarn

Using size 9 16" circular needle, cast on 78 stitches. Mark the beginning with a stitch marker.

Begin decrease:
*K5, k2tog* and repeat from * to end, k1. (there will be one extra stitch)
Knit the next row and each row between decreases.

*k4, k2tog* repeat from * to end, k1.
Knit.
[At this point, you may need to go to double pointed needles. When you do, be sure to end with a k2tog just before moving to next needle.]

*K3, k2tog* repeat from * to last st; k1.
Knit.
*K2, K2tog* repeat from * to last st; k1.
Knit.
*K1, K2tog* repeat from * to last st; k1.
Knit.
* K2tog* repeat from * to last st; k1.
Knit.

Cut yarn, leaving about 6 inches to weave through.
Using a tapestry needle, thread it and weave through the remaining stitches on the needles and then pull tight. Weave in ends.
